Purpose

Change an existing license to add/remove features, or change the payment period (e.g., monthly → annual).

Preconditions

• You are signed in to the app with your Bentley IMS (avatar popover is available)
• You have permission to manage your own licenses (standard self-service user flow).

Actions

1. Open your avatar popover and choose Manage License (or go directly to /licenses).
2. On the Licenses page find the license card you want to update and click Edit.
3. In the edit dialog change the License Type, Period, and/or toggle Features as required.
   • Note: some features are restricted for free license types and will be disabled.
4. Review the pricing summary changes shown in the dialog.
5. Click Save Changes

Notes

• Pricing is calculated client-side for display and a payment request will be issued from the server
• Access to features are not available until full payment is made for additional features.
• Payment may take 2-3 days to be cleared ... we are working on a faster payment method
• Server-side validation or pricing rules may reject unsupported type/period combinations.

Troubleshooting

• If the server returns permission or auth errors (401/403): verify the Authorization token and that the account is signed in.
• If a feature is disabled in the UI for the selected license type, it cannot be added for that license level.
• If creating the license fails, please use the feedback page and report issues
• If you have paid for a feature and the feature is enabled, please ensure your payment has been cleared and email -support@dotrdl.co.uk
